Awards
Students who really excel at their VET in Schools studies may be eligible for awards to recognise their achievements. The Australian Vocational Student Prize and Prime Minister’s Award for Skills Excellence in School are open to students who undertake a VET in Schools program or Australian School-based Apprenticeship — see www.deewr.gov.au/avsp for more information. There are also state and territory training awards, which provide an opportunity for winners to compete at the Australian Training Awards — see www.australiantrainingawards.gov.au for more information.
